Henian Boone is a versatile performing artist with a mission. He believes in the power of art to reflect the soul of the audience, and to be a mode of social change. Henian credits most of what he has learned to the stage and the arts community. It was the outreach of the community that sustained him, thus creating a deep-seated passion for activism. He proudly supports Actors Equity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc, The NAACP, ACLU, and March of Dimes.
With the scholarship assistance of the Congressional Black Caucus and others, Henian was educated in acting at Howard University.
Henian garnered a BFA in Theatre Arts. He is a proud alumnus of The Midsummer in Oxford Program; British American Drama Academy. Henian holds a MFA in Acting from The Old Globe University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program.
Henian has varied experience in many facets of entertainment, including: Private Event Management (New York Entertainment), Production (American Idol), Television (HBO, Discovery Channel), Film (Warner Brothers, PBS Films), Fashion (Marie Claire Magazine), commercials, and Voice Overs. As an actor he has performed in regional theatres like The John F. Kennedy Center, The Studio Theatre, and The American Stage.
